Dear Jeff,
I have been reading Al Jazeera on the Web for years. I like to see items reported from other points of view. Importantly, I find Al-Jazeera reports on items that the US news outlets ignore. As with any news, it is vital to place the reporting in context, because reporters and editors find it impossible to avoid injecting their own views into their items.

I'm right there with you, Adam. I forgot to mention that the AJE Web site has a ton of written reporting.

It may not be as edgy as AJE, but I've been getting my international news and analysis from the Economist for many years now. OK, I'm a print stodge. I agree with you that an outside viewpoint is invaluable.
